Mandy Kordal’s knitwear label plays with texture and manipulation. Handmade in Brooklyn, quality craftsmanship and American manufacturing is a focus of the brand. For spring, her inspiration comes from shapes and the opacities in shadows on relaxed pieces that give off a touch of playful sex appeal in a focused color story of mint, black, light champagne and scarlet.
The Meredith, a kimono-like cardigan is made from bamboo with mesh detailing on the back and sides and serves as that go-to, live and and lounge in piece. Other silhouettes are also easy-to-wear and work well for layering. Her Jenni bralette top has a crisscross back and pairs perfectly with the Lyndsey short that is designed with petite eyelets and stripe detailing for the woman that enjoys basking in springtime knits.
