24 Days of Emerging Designers: RUIFIER

Ruifier Jewelry

There’s something striking about going to the Ruifier website. A bold luxurious green balanced with white starts to tell the story of this new London-based jewelry label. Designed by Rachel Shaw a graduate of Central Saint Martins, the brand is about “merging classical beauty with contemporary design.” Within their two collections, each item is a fusion of linear structural angles with geometric shapes for a clean, inviting aesthetic.

For easy-to-wear staples that make for touches of everyday glamour, there’s the Icon collection which is made up of a variety of rings, bracelets and necklaces in 925 sterling silver and 18 carat gold vermeil, paired with yellow and black diamonds. Their bold Icon ring can be worn on two fingers fitting what’s on trend or the traditional way while the Dewdrop pendant is designed with 15 brilliant cut yellow diamonds easy to wear alone or layered.

Their Kinetic collection was made to make statements. Using a special setting that allows the stones move freely within the pieces, there’s a sparkle effect when the body moves and is enhanced by the light. With over a year in testing and development to get larger stones to work just right, each piece is named after a star and gives off  its own aura of magic.
