5 Fashion’s Night Out Events Supporting Emerging Designers and New York Talent

Now in its fourth year, Fashion’s Night Out has gone global. Here in New York, there’s more than plenty of events to attend. Whether you spend the night mingling with emerging designers, educating yourself about sustainable practices, supporting a charitable cause or celebrating the arts, here are 5 events that will connect you to fresh, local talent.

1. Caravan Stylist Studio

What: Caravan Stylist Studio and Keepin it Local come together to promote some of the best local talent including Thomas IV handbags, AEA Jewelry, Opus and Loup.
Where: Sky Room, 330 West 40th Street, 33rd Floor
When: 7pm-10pm

2. Eco Salon’s Sustainable Fashion Party at the Textile Arts Center 

What: Mingle with some of the city’s best sustainable fashion designers such as A.D.O, Jess Rizzuti and Soham Dave along with a bit of learning and organic cocktails

3. Fashion 4 Development (F4D) featuring Alexandra Taylor

What: Parsons graduate Alexandra Taylor will debut her scarf collection made for Fashion 4 Development, an organization that seeks to implement creative growth strategies for communities worldwide

4. Parsons The New School for Design  

What: Check out the MFA Fashion Design and Society Spring 2012 graduation installation
