They often say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and when those words can translate onto a different medium, the story continues to evolve. That’s what happened when Claire Andrew photographed a stormy day in New York. The water, light and clouds rumbling together was an ethereal moment of magic and became the inspiration for her fall cityscape collection. Digitally printing it onto fabric, the photo lives well throughout many silhouettes and fabrics, creating various color intensities while giving each piece an intriguing vignette of its own.
