Emerging Designer Spotlight: Anna Daubner

Anna Daubner’s namesake label brings a soft feminine ease to the market. In her spring 15 capsule collection you’ll see that this Hungarian designer takes the playfulness of the 60s and pairs it with geometric silhouettes and warm colors. Think the casual elegance of Jane Birkin and the innocence of Twiggy. Skirts, a-line dresses and uplifting color combinations give the line harmony. Look closely and you’ll see wave details throughout; the brand’s theme for the season along with embellishments like wolf teeth and intertwining lines that offer a spark of delight to her minimal bodies. Standouts are the raffia dress and skirt which channel effortless movement along with the Calipso top with velvet straps paired with sky blue culottes that couldn’t be more appropriate for spring.
