For fall, Kristi Vosbeck has a new story to tell. Her inspiration: Sherlock Holmes in Paris with influences from Shanghai. What you’ll see are more sophisticated looks, a sharper edge and strong tailoring shown through a rich color story which includes a proper dose of orange, a smoked grey, sage, black and opium white.
A bit more dramatic and certainly a standout for this designer is her empire waist lambskin leather bodice dress with a pleated circle skirt which can be worn alone or over her Detective plaid cape that pays homage to the famous investigator and shows how this silhouette can be revved up.
She also stays true to her signature looks with a range of dresses and gowns. One focus of the season is Chantilly lace that is the focal of her off-white cocktail dress and is also reprised in pants to go with her dressed up jackets for a stroke of femininity.
