Emerging Designer Spotlight: Rue Mercer

Rue Mercer wants to make the button down a key piece in your wardrobe. And, not just any button down. Their collection of modern women’s shirts is a refreshing marriage of New York and Parisian influence that couldn’t be anything but chic. Their Honoré shirt, a short-sleeved blouse that comes with three different bow ties for an elevated look is just one example of the brand’s effortless style.

Julie and Pamela, co-founders of the New York-based label took their collective experience in design and modeling to build the business after not being able to find quality shirts that fit and looked good too.

From construction, fabrication and fit, each blouse has its own special detail including luxurious fabrics, French seams along with a variety of flattering cuts to cover several occasions and with personality pieces like the Saint Germain tuxedo shirt, it’s all gorgeous to the eye.
