FIT Summer Course: Marketing Your Fashion Business in China

Interested in learning more about the Chinese fashion market? Whether you’re considering business expansion or would like to gain a better understanding of the landscape for one of the largest consumers of fashion and luxury products, FIT’s two-day summer evening course may be right for you.

Designed for small fashion business owners, the class will provide key considerations for entering China and provide information on market complexities that could impact your business. Topics that will be covered include:

  • Overview of the Chinese fashion, luxury and cosmetic markets
  • Market entry decisions
  • The emerging middle class and understanding the Chinese dream
  • Marketing communication strategies
  • Strategic marketing

Those that complete the course will be able to determine if China is right for their business and how to strategically enter and communicate in the market.

Professor Mark Greiz is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and has spent nearly 20 years working the Asia Pacific region with a focus on the greater China market.
