Made in Brooklyn: Chromat’s Becca McCharren in Conversation with Kim Jenkins

Becca McCharren, founder of Brooklyn-based Chromat has broken through in many ways. Her designs have been featured on Beyonce, Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj. She’s also amassed a serious cult following and churns out both editorial pieces and wearable, salable designs. For the brand’s business acumen, she won Design Entrepreneurs NYChas been named “ones to watch” in Vogue and Forbes. This Monday, she’ll talk with Kim Jenkins, Visiting Assistant Professor of Fashion at Pratt Institute on fashion and culture, in an on-going series that features emerging designers and though leaders in the industry.
