Angela Campos is not going to bore you with your typical e-commerce song and dance. The Founder and Creative Director of Memphis Workshop, a New York-based content studio is leveraging the company’s production prowess and sleek art direction skills for the Memphis Shop.
The new store consists of mini visual stories featuring a limited selection of womenswear, accessories and home goods all presented with a clever point-of-view. The site is filled with oversized and colorful videos, GIFS and stills, with 10-15 designers such as Miakoda, Strathcona, Yeild, Kozmin along with vintage labels. New designers will be rotated throughout each season and price points now range from $35 – $500.
The aim was to create an extension of the studio, elevate traditional online shopping and get creative in the process. It’s essentially like shopping from a bad-ass gallery of visual ideas.
