Ready to immerse yourself into the New York fashion industry?
Parsons The New School for Design and the NYCEDC have launched NYC Fashion Career Week. This program was created to attract talented fashion industry hopefuls by providing them with insider knowledge and the guidance they need to develop their career.
The program is free and open to those interning, working and interested in the fashion industry. All applications must have a high school diploma. Participants will learn about a variety of topics including:
- Public relations
- Retail management
- Product development
- Fashion tech
- A keynote address by Tracy Reese
- Fashion career-specific workshops
- Panel discussions focused on topics such as New York-based manufacturing, fashion tech and social media and getting hired
- Visits to fashion firms such as Bonobos, Theory and Ralph Lauren
- HR meet-and-greets
