How does one translate their All-American point-of-view into a storyline? For The 2 Bandits spring 2015 lookbook, Tamar Wider set the stage at the Russian River Rodeo, a California hotspot that’s always been an inspiration for the designer. You’ll see horses, cowboys and the inner workings of the pastime mixed in with sultry glamour.
The Rodeo Queen collection builds upon their rustic meets refined aesthetic and brings back all the tried-and-true elements that the brand is known for: silver and antique brass metals, cuffs and rings fit for everyday style. The standouts are the kachina bolo that not only looks good, but seems like it gives off a feel-good energy along with the wild west earrings for its contemporary play. There’s also other Western-inspired cues seen throughout like crescent shaped pieces, a sherif’s badge and the Annie Oakley cuff; all apropos for this free-spirited label.
