For Danielle Foster’s debut handbag line, channeling her inner equestrian upbringing was the inspiration behind the collection, along with 1940s bondage and torture elements. She describes her pieces as a bit of aggressive elegance with a luxury finish, giving feminine accessories a masculine edge.
Hand woven leathers, studded dome rivets on brass hardware and pieces with a striking wave of hair are some of the details in the collection that offer “touch me textures” as she calls it. You’ll see buckled leather totes, a uniquely cut zig-zag detailed satchel and a briefcase with a hand marbling technique that Danielle plans to be one of her signatures.
This 2010 London College of Fashion grad studied both womenswear and accessory design is already off to a strong start. She showed at London Fashion Week earlier this year and is stocked at Studandstud.com, ASOS Marketplace, Silkfred.com and also makes custom order pieces in London where she sources and produces her line.
