FIT CitySource Sourcing Tradeshow

FIT is back with their annual CitySource 2017 sourcing seminar for emerging designers and small businesses. With 65 local New York vendors on site, attendees can meet a variety of sample and patternmakers, trim shops and manufacturing resources. Participating companies include TrimLab, Baikal, C&J Sportswear, Waterberry Button and more. 

There will also be a full day of demonstrations and seminars from industry experts. All are free to attend, but registration is required and the lineup includes: 

10:15 to 11:15 – Demo: Leather Techniques, Lorna Nixon, Lorna Nixon

11:30 to 12:00 – Seminar: Sustainability Storytelling, Magnifeco, Kate Black

12:15 to 1:15 – Demo: Shoe Making,  Brooklyn Shoe Space, Bonine Andrus

1:45-2:15 – Seminar: Production, Contractors and Costs, Shiloh Byrd, Jene Stefaniak

2:30-3:30 – Demo: Making a Floral Headpiece, M & S Schmalberg, Adam Brand

3:45-4:15 – Seminar: How to Develop a Leather Handbag, Baikal Leather, Nicole Levy
