Berta Cabestany Fall/Winter 2017
Berta Cabestany's inaugural collection is a chic wonderland of beads, paillettes, sequins and embroidery. Based in Spain, the emerging designer spent time in New York, Paris and London studying fashion design and now wants to preserve the art of handmade, artisan techniques. The Fall 2017 collection titled Braille is based on three-dimensional structures made by Japanese Artist Jacob Hashimoto. There's texture, alluring colors and a tasteful obsession with sunflowers that shows up throughout. Paired with wearable, relaxed silhouettes, the collection is full of charming grace.
After having worked for many different designers and typologies of brands, I knew I was ready to create my own label to be able to express myself and to give modern women something fun, creative and handcrafted to wear.
