Sales Strategies for Emerging Designers

FIT has launched another class specifically for small fashion businesses. Sales Strategies for Emerging Designers is a 3-part program for fashion businesses that would like to strengthen their sales. This series is perfect for those starting out or that want to re-ground themselves with the fundamentals. Taught by industry names, students will learn how to build a sales plan, get retail-ready, create projections and learn how to work with vendors such as a sales rep or showroom. The course will also dive into the various sales channels you may consider and discuss the importance of time management, creating internal systems that work for your business and how to sell with confidence. 

  • Session 1: Building a Sales Plan, Your Selling Tools and Projections (Instructor TBD)

  • Session 2: Finding Sales Support, Pitching Your Business and Distribution Channels  (Instructor TBD)

  • Session 3: Gateway to Sales: Building Systems, Time Management and Confidence (Instructor: Melissa Hall)

Classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 6-9pm (May 16 , 23, and 30)
